I have loved creating art since childhood. I was born in Chicago and studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College and the University of New Mexico. I became enchanted with the land and people of New Mexico forty years ago and have been joyfully painting them ever since. Expressing myself through art has helped me tremendously in dealing with life's transitions and challenges. I work in several different mediums, including oils, clay, pastels and fused glass. I feel that creative expression can take an infinite variety of forms. I have also been a Registered Nurse for over thirty years. I always dreamed of having enough time to sit with the patients and do art projects. I went back to school and obtained an M.A....
